Aranya Chaturvedi of DPS Ranchi Shines in Model United Nations event
IIT Delhi organized a National Level MUN as a part of its Annual Cultural Festival, “Rendezvous” on 26th and 27th March. Four students from DPS Ranchi made their presence felt at the event. The MUN (Model United Nations) included various committees like ECOSOC, UNGA, UNHRC etc. MUN which is also known as Model UN, or by the initialism MUN, is an educational simulation and academic activity in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. Nivedita Kuhu, a student of standard 12 R, emerged victorious in the UNGA-DISEC committee with a special mention. And, Aaranya Chaturvedi of standard 12 N, won the honourable mention award in the Lok Sabha committee. Meanwhile, Anvesha Tripathi (XII R) and Humaira (XII N) received certificates of participation.
